Just a quick one to tell you all the dressing I made for tonights salad:
- 2 avocados
- 2 1/2 sun dried tomatoes. soaked
- 2 fresh tomatoes
- small piece of spring onion
- 4 wild garlic leaves
- small piece of chili
A simple one which worked really well. Everything in the vitamix including a little soak water from the tomatoes. Had it with a salad of cucumber, grated carrot, sweet potato and beetroot, and lots of wild greens - pennywort, dandelion and wild garlic.

On Monday we went to visit the Funky Raw festival site near Helston in Cornwall. It’s a really beautiful place. There is a large barn where we will have the cafés, juice bar, bands, DJs and that kind of thing.

Next to the barn is a nice courtyard area where we can set up some tables for an outside eating area.

Next is a beautiful field with some young trees, which could be used for workshops.

Then there is the “anceient settlement”. This is a masive round field which has a wall all the way around it and was probably some kind of ancient settlement. This will be the camping field. The site is about 3 miles walk to the beach. We’re going to have Raw food preparation demos, Qi Gong, Tai Chi, Kundalini Yoga, Chanting, Massage, “The Scented Tent” (learn how to make natural skin care products), Wild food walks, etc.Music: bands, DJs, open mic, impromptu (bring instruments if you want).
Food: 2 cafés including the Magic Café, juice bar, fruit and veg stall, superfoods stall.
See www.funkyraw.com/festival for more information

After visiting the site, we went on to visit Tish and Tony. Berite and Lizzy brough their pet aligator for a bit of a swim! I went for a really good walk along the coast path.
